PRIVACY NOTICE
Who we are
The Teversal, Stanton Hill & Skegby Neighbourhood Forum (TSSNP) is a membership organisation formed to promote and improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of the people who live or work in the Teversal, Stanton Hill & Skegby area. The management committee of the TSSNP acts as the organisation’s data controller for the purposes of the GDPR. Individual officers of the Committee may act as data processors, in particular the Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
Why we keep personal data and our legal basis for doing so
In order to run efficiently and to provide membership with information on activities and events TSSNP keeps and uses personal data. To do this the Officers and others involved in the organisation from time to time need to know who our members are and to be able to communicate with them. TSSNP is therefore adopting the legal basis of ‘Legitimate Interest’ to justify holding and using your personal data. The committee is satisfied that it is in the legitimate interests of the TSSNP to maintain this data, that it is necessary and proportionate to do so and that the purposes for which the data is used cannot be achieved in any other, less intrusive, way.
What information we keep and what we do with it
TSSNP stores and uses your contact details as provided by you. Those details are your email address and may include your name, address (and alternative address if provided) and telephone number if you have provided these.
We do keep a record of those attending meetings.
We use the information to keep you informed about TSSNP activities and other items that may be of interest to you.
The information is held electronically on personal computers and in paper form as required. Every effort is made to ensure that your data is secure, including passwording relevant documents. The data of all members of TSSNP is held by the Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. Individual members’ details are made available to and held by other Committee members and other members involved in organising activities only as and when required.
Working group organisers hold the contact details of all those in their groups.
Who we share it with
We do not and will not share your information with anyone outside of TSSNP.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for the duration of your membership of TSSNP unless and until you tell us that you no longer wish to be a member. If you inform us that you are cancelling your membership all your data will be deleted from the electronic record as soon as possible and in any event within 4 weeks of us receiving that information.
